Title IX
Title IX is a federal law that prohibits discrimination based on the sex of employees and students of educational institutions that receive federal financial assistance. Title IX’s prohibition of sex discrimination includes prohibition of sexual harassment and sexual violence.
At the University of New Haven, we strive to provide an environment free from sexual violence and other sexual misconduct, including without limitation, sexual assault, intimate partner violence, domestic violence, dating violence, and stalking.
If you need immediate assistance in case of an emergency, please dial (203) 932-7070 from any University phone or 911. Please be advised that dialing (203) 932-7070 directly to the Department of Public Safety may speed up emergency response as Public Safety can guide emergency services to the proper location on campus.
